Enersize acquires ROCCA Group‘s Energy Efficiency business22.7.2010ROCCA Group Ltd (later RG) has sold its ROCCA Energy -business unit, which is focused on improving compressed air energy efficiency and producing energy efficiency systems. Enersize, established in February, offers industrial customers at least 100 000 EUR costs savings from compressed air based on awarded business concept. Enersize’s mission is to productize this concept and related energy savings system AIRSave™ to global markets. - Developing globally growth-oriented business concept and AIRSave™ system together with nationally growing technical wholesale trade is practically impossible with small resources. With these business arrangements we wanted to ensure the positive development for both business areas, RG’s Chairman of the Board Mikko Laine says about the backgrounds of the business deal. Since 2007 as RG’s CEO operated Tuomas Rouhikko changes to Enersize’s CEO. Also Olli Seppälä (Customer Operations Manager) and Pasi Peltomaa (R&D Manager) from RG moves to Enersize. Enersize is approved to national Cleantech VIGO business program and its mission is to grow strongly internationally. - The goal is to prepare the company for rapid international growth with the Cleantech VIGO business program period. Our business concept is in a piloting stage and we continue to develop our energy efficiency system with few large industry customers. Our intention is to achieve a turnover of EUR 10 Million in 2013 and over 80 % of the turnover is expected to come from the international markets. Our first international projects will start up in the beginning of 2011, CEO of Enersize Ltd Tuomas Rouhikko informs about future plans. Enersize is owned by the operating management, business angels and cleantech venture capitalists. Enersize’s Board of Directors consists of experienced senior professionals. ROCCA Group Ltd’s founder Juhani Rouhikko returns to RG’s CEO. - Now RG is able to fully focus on profitable growth of its main business areas which are wholesale of technical products and compressed air maintenance services for industry customers. We are well known of high quality products and professional after-sale services. Our customers are all around Finland but still we are unfamiliar in some areas.
